...ahh, memories...how sweet thou art
you either tug at heart strings
or just rip the suckers out...

...you make certain moments
seem fuzzy and warm
or something horrible to poke at with scorn...

...it's funny how each person's memories compare
when one is elated
and the other in despair...

...but one thing's for certain
whether horrible or sweet...without all these memories
our lives wouldn't be complete...

...and thanks to the genealogists, the historical seekers
our lifetimes are recorded
by these memory-keepers...
