North West Aero Modelers is a club of about fifty members of varying ages, flying off Morris Field, a privately owned strip at Highclere near Ridgley in the North West of Tasmania. The club is affiliated with the Tasmanian Model Aeronautical Association & provides a safe, enjoyable way to learn & participate in this great hobby.

Most types of flying is catered for including powered fixed wing planes, gliders & helicopters with experienced pilots & instructors on hand to offer newcomers advice on getting started as well as proficiency testing for bronze wings etc. The strip is available every day of the week, Saturday is the main flying day with the last one of the month being a club day (usually some organized events followed by a BBQ & tall stories).

The club welcomes anyone interested in learning more about this exhilarating hobby to contact a member through the Contact Us page & arrange a visit to the field. The club also welcomes members of other flying clubs to come & fly off one of Australia's most picturesque R/C model air fields.
