We
hold monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm in
the Herbarium, accessed from cnr. Moir/Hymus Streets, Albany. An excursion
to different locations of flora interest within the Albany region is
planned
to take place during the Saturday following each meeting.
Notifications
of details are placed in the local papers prior to the meetings and
excursions.

The Albany branch holds our annual Wildflower Exhibition in the St John's Church Hall, York Street, Albany during the latter part of September each year.

enjoy our magnificent scenery and some of the native flora growing
naturally.
For more detailed information on the walks around Albany, the City of
Albany published in 2004, a more up to date booklet titled "Walking
Naturally in Albany. This may be obtained from the City of Albany, PO
Box 484, Albany, Western Australia 6331. Cost $5.00 plus postage.
For
several years a hard working committee has been developing the Mount
Martin Regional Botanic Park where much of Albany's native flora may
be found growing.
We regret that we are no longer able to supply a link to this site as
the park has been vested under the auspices of the Department of
Environment and Conservation, formerly CALM.
To access the walk trails in the park, it is necessary to drive to the
Ledge Beach carpark after first turning into the Gull Rock Road from
Nanarup Road and then taking a right hand turn to Ledge Beach.
